How should I apply this sunscreen spray?

Follow the application directions on your Australian can, including shaking before use, applying generously before sun exposure and rubbing in evenly. Do not spray directly onto the face or inhale the spray. Use in a well-ventilated area and check the label for complete directions.

Does four-hour water resistance mean I can wait four hours to reapply?

No. Reapply at least every two hours and after swimming, sweating or towel drying, following the directions on your can. Water resistance is not a substitute for reapplication.
