The profession of the swimwear print designer has often been compared to that of an underworld outfit, with family connections running deep through the industry. The wrong associations can lead to a very dangerous existence, and putting out the wrong print or colour palette can be fatal. Which is why, after a particularly controversial collection, we packed what we could carry, left the city we'd called home, and disappeared for a while. The skyline at sunset was our final image, and our message to the family that we were out.

The Funky Trunks Sidewinder is a square-cut trunk — a shorter, more fitted silhouette that sits mid-thigh and moves with you. Chlorine-resistant fabric holds its colour and shape lap after lap.

This print is a placement so the pattern will appear exactly as you see it in the photos, except of course larger or smaller sizes will have more or less of the print on display.

Best of all this print has been produced via the latest direct digital printing technology, which means it is better for the environment as there is minimal wastage and water consumption in the printing process.
