What is C-Infinity fabric?
C-Infinity is Funkita's exclusive swimwear fabric, made from 100% Italian polyester. Because it contains no elastane, there's nothing in it for chlorine to break down — which is exactly what causes ordinary swimwear to go baggy, fade and turn see-through. Funkita rates C-Infinity as having exceptional strength and retaining durability far beyond conventional elastane swimwear fabrics. For a swimmer doing four or five sessions a week, that's the difference between replacing a suit each term and getting a full season out of it. Choosing a style
One pieces are the core of the range — Diamond Back, Diamond Secure, Tie Me Tight and Single Strap. Diamond Back and Diamond Secure hold most securely across the shoulders, which is what you want for starts, turns and any suit you'll be diving in. Tie Me Tight and Single Strap are the more relaxed cuts.
Sports briefs and separates are a genuine strength of the womens range — sports brief, hipster, high waisted and banded cuts, sold as separates. Two things make this useful: you can size top and bottom independently, and you can replace one half when it wears out rather than the whole suit. Separates also work as a training layer under a wetsuit or over bathers.

Getting the size right

Yes. Funkita swimwear is made from C-Infinity, a 100% Italian polyester fabric with no elastane content, which is what gives it its chlorine resistance. It holds colour and shape substantially longer than conventional elastane swimwear in a chlorinated pool.
What's the difference between Funkita and Funky Trunks?
They're the same company. Funkita is the womens and girls range; Funky Trunks is the mens and boys range. Both use the same C-Infinity fabric, and prints are often released as matching pairs across the two.
Why buy swimwear separates instead of a one piece?
Separates let you size the top and bottom independently, which solves the problem of a one piece that fits one half well and the other badly. They're also cheaper to replace piecemeal, and give more options for layering.
How should I wash Funkita swimwear?
Rinse in cold fresh water immediately after every swim, squeeze rather than wring, and dry flat in the shade. Avoid the washing machine, dryer, fabric softener and hot spas — heat damages swimwear faster than chlorine does.
How long does Funkita swimwear last?
With regular rinsing and shade drying, a C-Infinity suit worn four to six times a week typically lasts a full season or longer. Rotating two suits so each dries fully between wears extends that further.
