She lived along the California coastline and was regularly seen slicing and dicing the early morning surf. She dyed her wool pink and purple to fit with the times but one day, having refused the farmer’s advice to have her dreadlocks shorn off, was dragged under the water never to be seen again but immortalised by the Beach Boys forever.
