Womens Volare V1 Triathlon Wetsuit

In a sea of black neoprene, the Volare V1 stands out — literally. High-visibility neon yellow arm and leg panels make this wetsuit one of the most recognisable in open water, giving you a genuine safety advantage during ocean swims, triathlon events, and surf lifesaving. But the V1 isn't just about being seen. It's a technically capable wetsuit built around Yamamoto neoprene, delivering warmth, buoyancy, and flexibility at a price point that makes it one of the best-value options in the market.

Yamamoto Neoprene

Yamamoto has been the world's leading neoprene manufacturer since 1961. Unlike petroleum-based neoprenes, Yamamoto neoprene is derived from limestone, producing a cell structure that absorbs dramatically less water, offers superior insulation, and delivers unparalleled flexibility through the swim stroke. The V1 uses 3mm Yamamoto through the main body panels for warmth and buoyancy, and 2mm neoprene through key movement areas like the arms to ensure a relaxed, fatigue-free stroke.

Key Features

  • YKK zipper for reliable, long-lasting performance
  • Available in XS, S, M, L, XL, XLS, and XXL

Fit Tips

Put on your tri suit or race gear before attempting to get into the wetsuit — covering skin reduces friction significantly. Use a small plastic bag over your feet and hands to help slide through the neoprene, then remove once through. Always try on when dry and in a cool environment, and use the pads of your fingers (never your nails) to gently work the suit up a few centimetres at a time.
