Kids can happily spend hours in the water and on the beach.  However this can leave them vulnerable to sunburn in the hotter months.  You do need to consider carefully how you are going to protect your children from UV radiation when they are out and about. 

As well as using sun cream and sunblock it is a good idea to choose swimwear that offers built-in UV protection.  This can make sure kids get some sun protection even when they are in the water.  Don’t forget to buy hats as well to protect the scalp, face and back of the neck whilst your kids are playing out in the sun.

Swimwear Fit

Kids can grow up fast so you may need to buy them new swimwear every year.  This can be an additional expense but it is important swimwear fits properly.  If it is too tight it could feel very uncomfortable and could rub and irritate the skin.

Swimwear types
